Acquisition Strategy and Criteria

 

We follow an opportunistic acquisition strategy based on extensive research and a local presence and expertise in our targeted home markets. We look for investments that allow us to utilize our integrated structure and hands-on approach to add value and maximize returns to our investors.

Specifically, we are looking for opportunities that:

        • Are up to $60 million in total deal cost;
        • Are located in our targeted home markets throughout the East Coast and Texas;
        • Have a significant upside that can be realized though a combination of financial recapitalization, rehabilitation and/or redevelopment, and improved property and asset management.

Our excellent equity and debt relationships, an in-house due diligence team, and immediate access to capital, allows us to act quickly and efficiently to execute even the most complex deals, and to ensure a timely and seamless closing.
